Active in Casper & Community

At Casper Children’s Dental Clinic, we understand that there are tons of ways we can help local children that don’t involve them coming to our dental office! That is why we’re big supporters of the Boys & Girls Club of Central Wyoming, Casper Youth Baseball, Casper Family Connections, and our local CASA.. If it makes Casper a better place for kids, we’re more than happy to support it!

Dr. Ryne can also be spotted at local schools/preschools educating kids about cavities, oral hygiene, and eating a healthy diet.

Look for us at the next parade or community health function. We’ll be the ones with the balloon animals and the face paint.

Casper Preschools

February is Children’s Dental Health Month. Every year, Dr. Ryne and staff take our interactive oral hygiene lesson to local preschools. Over the years, CCDC has visited over 15 different Casper preschools (including the Child Development Center) to teach children about proper oral hygiene and provide screenings. Parents even receive a dental/orthodontic report card after the visit.

The Boys and Girls Club of Central Wyoming

Boys and Girls Clubs have always provided such a positive impact on children throughout the United States. The safe and interactive after-school and summer programs add such value to Casper and its youth. Dr. P grew up regularly attending a Boys and Girls Club in Hot Springs, AR.

Casper Youth Baseball

Baseball can be so valuable helping young boys and girls develop a sense of teamwork and dedication to a common goal. As former players, coaches, parents, and board members of Casper youth baseball, CCDC values Casper’s strong youth baseball program.

Wyoming Head Start Programs

Head Start programs provide quality daycare and preschool services throughout the state of Wyoming. Dr. Ryne, Angie, and our hygienist Julie visit Head Starts in Casper, Douglas, Glenrock, Riverton, Thermopolis, Worland and Lander to teach kiddos how to take good care of their teeth and eat a healthy diet. They even provide free dental and orthodontic screenings.

Give Kids A Smile

Every spring, our doctors and staff volunteer for Give Kids a Smile Day at the community health center where we provide free exams/cleanings and dental treatment. We even provide follow-up services at our clinic if additional treatment is needed. The oral health of Casper’s children is our number one priority.

Casper Family Connections

Casper Family Connections provides a safe, conflict-free environment for children to visit their family members who may not be currently living with them. These families are often in crisis, dealing with child abuse or neglect, parental substance abuse, domestic violence, and/or divorce. We understand families can grow through hard times and support this organization’s mission.

CASA

CASA of Natrona County speaks for the interests of abused and neglected children within the court system. Casa gives a voice to children and helps break the cycle of abuse and neglect. CCDC donates and attends CASA’s fundraiser every year.

Rising Star

CCDC sponsors the yearly dance recital at Rising Star Tumbling and Dance. The Rising Star has been a staple in the Casper community for decades. Many children find a sense of expression and camaraderie through dance; we are happy to support the Rising Star!
